MANITOBA EARNS SILVER MEDAL
Team Manitoba gave it their best shot but came out on the wrong end of a tough 2-1 OT result vs Ontario Red at the U18 National Championship in Huntsville Ont. Jaedon Cooke (Westman Wildcats) was Team Manitoba's lone goal scorer as she banged in the equalizer with 12 minutes to go in the third period and sent the game to OT.

Ontario Red would end the game with 2 minutes remaining in the 4 on 4 OT period. It was a tough loss however the Silver Medal equalled the best result for Manitoba at any U18 Nationals. MANITOBA PLAYING FOR GOLD
Team Manitoba defeated Ontario Blue 3-1 in their semi-final matchup earning a spot in the U18 National Championship Gold Medal Game vs. Ontario Red on Sunday Nov. 8 In Hunstville Ontario. MFMHL players continue to play a major part in the team's success as the game winnig goal was scored by Sheridan Oswald (Central Plains Capitals) with the lone assist going to defense Jalyn Elmes (Yellowhead Chiefs). Savannah Rennie (Shaftsbury) had Team Manitoba's first goal on the powerplay to tie the game and then added an empty net goal to secure the win. The Gold Medal Game is set for 3:30 CST and will be televised live on TSN3.

MANITOBA LOSES IN OT
Team Manitoba lost its third round robin game 5-4 in overtime to Ontario Red at the U18 National Championships in Hunstville Onatrio. The loss means Team Manitoba picked up a single point and earned a semi-final spot on Saturday Nov. 7 @ 4:30 p.m. vs. Ontario Blue by finishing second in their pool. Team Manitoba actually led the game 4-1 heading into the third period however could not hold off the defending champions. MFMHL players continue to make a huge impact for Team Manitoba with Sheridan Oswald (Central Plains Capitals) picked up a goal and an assist, Ashton Bell (Westman Wildcats) - 2 assists, Hannah Fouillard (Yellowhead Chiefs) - 1 goal and Jaedon Cooke (Westman Wildcats) - 1 assist all hitting the score sheet. Oswald with 5 points leads Team Manitoba and is currently tied for first in tournament scoring while Bell sits second on Manitoba with 3 points after 3 games.
TEAM MANITOBA GOAL AND CELEBRATION
MANITOBA MOVES TO 2-0
Team Manitoba defeated Quebec 3-2 in another shootout to move to 2-0 in Pool Play at Hockey Canada's U18 National Championship in Huntsville Ont. Day 2 saw Team Manitoba fall behind earl 2-0 only to fight their way back as they dominated the game outshooting Quebec 34-20. Kayla Friesen (St. Mary's Academy) scored the first goal with Jenai Buchanan (Pembina Valley Hawks) getting the equalizer in the thrid period. MFFML players were front and center in the game with Sheridan Oswald (Central Plains Capitals) picking up assists on both goals while Ashton Bell added an an assist on the second goal making it an all MFMHL affair. Team Manitoba now plays Ontario Red on Friday Nove. 6 @ 7:30 EST with first place on the line in their pool.

Manitoba Defeats Saskatchewan
Team Manitoba is off to a good start with a 2-1 shootout win over Team Saskatchewan at the Hockey Canada U18 National Championship in Huntsville Ont. Sheridan Oswald (Central Plains Capitals) scored Manitoba's only goal in the third period and added the first shootout goal before Ryleigh Houston (Balmoral Hall) scored the shootout winner.
