Kimberly  Kobar (Goalie) and Christine Sheppard (Forward) - Norman Wild

Kimberly Kobar and Christine Sheppard have been named co-Player of the Week for the Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League. Kobar and Sheppard who both hail from The Pas have been the backbone defensively and offensively for the Wild as they continue to build and improve their “AAA” Program in Northern Manitoba. Kobar averages close to 50 shots against per game and has been able to maintain a .911 Save % this season. Sheppard has notched 18 points in MFMHL play which is good for a Top 10 Rating on a team that struggles offensively in MFMHL Play while still being one of the teams top defensive players. The Norman Coaches praise both players for their work ethic and leadership on a young team that continues to develop and become more competitive.
